posted by: Scully77 (reply) post date: 03.25.04 (4:25 am) I watched the CBS Evening news last night, and I heard some of the testimony given at the 9-11 hearings. I can't remember the guy's name, but he apologized to the families of the victims; "We failed you," he said. That took a lot of guts to say. If the government knew 9-11 was going to happen (which they probably did), how can they sleep at night knowing they didn't do anything to stop all those people from being killed?? Bush going after Saddam was personal. It was personal because Saddam tried to kill his Daddy, and that's why he wanted 9-11 to be partly Saddam's fault; to give him a good reason to go over there and get him. |
